On the market since 1985, TUROMAS-TECNOCAT is the leading manufacturer of machinery, equipment and accessories for cutting, handling and storage of flat glass from the Iberian Peninsula.

WHAT WE DO

TUROMAS-TECNOCAT has invested since its inception by using technological resources themselves. The overall design of machinery, equipment and accessories (mechanical design, electrical, pneumatic, electronic and control software) has been done by our Technical Department.

TUROMAS-TECNOCAT products are marketed primarily through two registered trademarks:

• TUROMAS: Automatic cutting machines for monolithic and laminated glass. Loading and unloading tables, breaking-off tables, etc.
  

• TECNOCAT: Automatic glass loaders, smart warehouses and a wide range of devices and equipment for storing, handling and transporting flat glass.

On-demand Projects: If a customer has the necessity of a machine or equipment with a special design, TUROMAS-TECNOCAT has a high-skilled technical department able to design, manufacture and deploy solutions.

Consulting Services: Our salesmen, technicians and engineers are available to our customers to provide personalized advice and assistance on all topics related to the glass industry: assessment of needs of hardware and software, sizing and distribution of machinery, strategies for increased the productivity, and so on.

CONTINUOUS INNOVATION

Machinery, equipment and accessories TUROMAS-TECNOCAT have evolved in parallel with the emergence of new types of glass, and new quality requirements such as accuracy, speed, acceleration, finishing, etc. Our technicians and designers have adapted new technologies to all of these requirements, without neglecting the robustness and reliability that have always characterized products TUROMAS-TECNOCAT.

The variety of our products gives a cost effective solution to each particular need of production, ensuring optimal operation of investment.

Demanding sectors such as automotive industry, manufacturing of photovoltaic modules, decoration and construction, have entrusted the cutting, handling and loading of flat glass to the TUROMAS-TECNOCAT products.

R&D+i

The continued investment in Research, Development and innovation, combined with a business philosophy of continuous improvement, both in product design and in production processes, has made it possible the machines TUROMAS-TECNOCAT are at the forefront of machinery processing glass.

All the designs of machinery, equipment and accessories TUROMAS-TECNOCAT (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Pneumatic, Telematics and Informatics) have been developed by our Technical Department, formed by a group of experienced engineers and technicians. This has permitted to adapt our products to the market needs, incorporating the latest technological advances, achieving in this way high quality and innovative products.

It is important to highlight that since 1998, TUROMAS-TECNOCAT and the University of Zaragoza–Universidad de Zaragoza (via the Polytechnic University School of Teruel–Escuela Universitaria Politécnica de Teruel) have been working together on various R&D+I projects. At present, we have signed several agreements for joint collaboration .

CONTINUOUS EXPANSION

Continuous adaptation to the needs of the glass industry, has been the key to TUROMAS-TECNOCAT products, machinery, equipment, accessories and software, are recognized in the Spanish market, and in various foreign markets as Europe, Africa and Latin America.

At present, TUROMAS-TECNOCAT is involved in a process of internationalization in search to increase the number of facilities, with our machines, in defined target markets and a greater international recognition of our products.

To that purpose, TUROMAS-TECNOCAT Group conducts various international prospecting trips per year. Therefore, we have been participating for more than 10 consecutive years in major international fairs of the glass sector, such as: GLASSTEC (Düsseldorf, Germany), VITRUM (Milan, Italy), VETECO (Madrid-Spain), CONSTRUMAT (Barcelona, Spain) or ALUVI (Buenos Aires, Argentina).

All this has led to expand year after year our international network of commercial distribution, through agents or distributors in key target markets.
