HISTORY

• 1985: Businessman Miguel Tomás Martin develops, in Rubielos de Mora-Teruel, his first cutting machine for monolithic glass.

• 1989: MECANICAS TERUEL S.L. start its activities in the town of Rubielos de Mora-Teruel. At the present there are our headquarters. It is dedicated to the manufacture of machinery for cutting, storage and handling of flat glass.

• 1996: TECNOCAT 21 S.L. start its activities in the town of La Selva del Camp, Tarragona. It is dedicated to the manufacture of machinery, equipment and accessories for the transportation, handling and storage of flat glass.

• 1998: SELTER INGENIERIA S.L. (Engineering of Systems and Processes), start its activities. It is dedicated to the development of control systems and on-demand software.

• 2000: SPIN-OFF Award to the Business Expansion (IDEA Contest - IAF Government of Aragon).

• 2003: MECATUR RUBIELOS S.L. start its activities. It is dedicated to the machining of parts and manufacturing of metal structures.

• 2004: ARAGONEX Award for Innovation (Asociation Aragón Exterior - Government of Aragon).

• 2005: ADA Distribuciones S.L. start its activites. It is dedicated to the distribution of consumables for the glass sector.

• 2006: TERUEL Enterprise Award to the Innovation (Government of Aragon - CEPYME TERUEL CET). Opens TECNOCAT new plant in La Selva del Camp with more than 3.000 m².

• 2007: TUROMAS-TECNOCAT gets deeply involved in a process of internationalization towards Europe and North Africa and consolidates its position in America.

• 2008: TUROMAS-TECNOCAT-ADA opens its new premises in Platea, Teruel where the central offices of ADA DISTRIBUCIONES, S.L. will be placed.

• 2009: Further expansion of TUROMAS premises in Rubielos de Mora reaching a total of 6.000 m².

• 2010: 2010 Business Excellence Award  (Asociación empresarial Gúdar Javalambre - AEGJ).

• 2011: TERUEL Enterprise Award to the Internationalization  (Government of Aragon, IAF, CET, CEPYME TERUEL).
