Series Features
High-sensitivity charging system
Each suction cup on the grid is associated with a pneumatic cylinder to absorb pressure, adapt to possible irregularities and prevent excessive force on the glass. It is also equipped with a series of sensors that detect the vacuum level, the pressure on the glass, the presence of the glass and the exact position in relation to it. In addition, each suction cup is mounted on a guide with a slide perfectly parallel to the direction of movement of the grid towards the glass to ensure that the suction cups approach in an optimal manner.
Advanced separation system
Once the glass has been brought close, the loader creates a vacuum in the corresponding suction cups according to the size of the glass. When the optimum vacuum level is detected, only the cylinders of the suction cups located at the upper ends of the glass retract in a controlled manner to facilitate the correct separation of the sheet. The loader then checks and ensures that the sheet has been correctly separated from the package by means of a series of horizontal and vertical movements of the grid, after which it can move the sheet to the transfer table. The process prevents any breakage of the glass, ensuring effective separation and high performance.
Ultrasonic positioning detector
The suction cup grid incorporates several ultrasonic sensors that allow for millimetre-precise positioning on the glass thanks to highly accurate readings of the distance between the grid and the glass.
4x4 motion
Due to the very nature of aerial loaders and the way they move loads, at certain times they suffer from inertia that can lead to mechanical overloads and less precise movements due to a decrease in effective traction.
The advanced 4×4 motion all-wheel drive system ensures effective traction and total control of movement at all times, guaranteeing that the loader is always exactly where it should be, protecting the mechanical components and extending the life of the machine.
Positioning laser
In order to ensure efficient and safe operation, the X and Y axes of the overhead loader use a laser measurement system to reliably, quickly and extremely accurately obtain the position of each part of the machine at all times.
Structural design
The machines have been designed to optimise storage space, always with the aim of achieving superior robustness that ensures reliability and smooth operation over the years, minimising vibrations during movement to preserve the quality of the glass.
Security systems
Safety in automatic storage and loading systems is based on ensuring that no one is within the radius of action of the machines during operation. To guarantee this, a perimeter fence equipped with safety locks isolates the enclosure from the machine’s area of action. If an operator enters the enclosure while the machine is in operation, the safety locks at the entrances detect the action and bring the machine to an immediate and controlled stop. Once the enclosure is safe again, the operator can reset the machine to continue the sequence from the point where it was interrupted.
Electrical system
The electrical system is composed of state-of-the-art devices, implementing only cutting-edge digital technology to offer maximum speed, precision, quality, and reliability. The wiring systems and electrical cabinets are designed and tested according to the most demanding methodology to provide our customers with the most suitable machines for the harsh working conditions they will face on a daily basis. All the machine’s systems are optimised to work together, without any interference, with a common goal: to produce.
100% European manufacturing
TUROMAS machines exclusively incorporate the best European components, recognised worldwide, to guarantee the highest quality, reliability and performance under any circumstances.
All our machines are entirely designed, manufactured and assembled at our facilities in Rubielos de Mora, Spain. This allows us to fully control each stage and production process to guarantee the high level of quality that characterises the TUROMAS brand.
Software
The storage systems, whose control system has been developed using state-of-the-art programming language, can be linked and communicate with the main commercial optimisers. The HMI has been developed using operating system-independent technology, which guarantees implementation under any system on the market.
Automatic classifiers
Automatic glass sorters are the ideal way to store large quantities of different types of glass in a confined space. Sorters can be supplied for different sheet sizes and with different storage capacities per position, depending on production requirements.
